Styling Your Yoga
At Satya Yoga and Therapeutics we believe in choice, inclusion and a high quality experience. We offer tailor specific classes for individuals as well as small groups. Our aim is to provide an intimate experience where people feel rejuvenated and connected to their bodies. Your classes can be in a meeting room, in nature or a gymnasium. The idea is that our clients provide the space and we provide the equipment, experienced instruction and atmosphere. If you are stuck on space we can also help with that!

What is Yoga Therapy?
Although yoga as a practice is therapeutic, there are significant differences between a yoga class and a yoga therapy session. The intention changes and yoga therapy becomes an individualized approach that focuses on the overall well being of the student or small groups with a specific health challenge. Yoga therapy is the process of empowering individuals to progress toward improved health and well-being through the application of the teachings and practices of Yoga.
What can I expect from a Yoga Therapy Session ?
After a thorough intake and assessment, therapists establish appropriate goals, develop a practice intervention, and then teach clients to practice that intervention. In this sense, therapists choose yoga techniques in relation to how they will specifically benefit individual clients. Your plan will typically involve the elements of asana (yoga postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), relaxation and meditation. You are free to continue with other forms of treatment and, indeed, yoga can be used alongside other modalities very easily.
Who is Satya Yoga?
Satya Yoga was born out of friendship, vulnerability and a desire to show up for oneself. Tricia and Angie have been practicing and sharing their love of yoga philosophy for more than a decade! For Tricia and Angie the true essence of yoga is the relationship with oneself and the desire to start over in each moment.
